Armageddon is the fast paced, variable intensity group fitness and personal training concept for people of all levels and led by certified fitness professionals. It is based around a circuit framework, carefully designed to encourage development in your fitness and aids in both fat loss and muscular improvement.

The concept has been a huge underground success around the UK for the past few years with its’ creator, trainer Richard Callender, eventually taking it onto our screens as part of his intensive and effective training regime on ITV1s The Biggest Loser.
What has made the concept such a success is the original blend between functional fitness training, a pulsating soundtrack and high levels of fitness instruction and motivation from your Armageddon Trainers Gemma & Phil.
One of the most important aspects about Armageddon is that it has been devised to effectively train participants regardless of age, sex or ability and allows the instructor the freedom to utilise their own experience and skills whilst creating a fun, exercise environment.  We believe that by helping people out of their comfort zone, training at a level higher than they are accustomed and using our combined wealth of fitness knowledge we can get a results based concept that is effective, addictive and fun for everyone.  Armageddon is personal training in a group fitness environment.   Burn calories, develop lean muscle, improve your health and fine tune your fitness in an Armageddon session with your Trainer.

"I created Armageddon Fitness back in 2008 to take a step back to the future and run a high intensity interval training class with a difference.  I wanted to target speed, strength and stamina but without the limitations of equipment and so Armageddon was born.  Over the years I have taught sessions to all types of people; elite athletes, students, the military, severely deconditioned individuals and everyone inbetween and I am yet to teach the same session twice because Armageddon is constantly evolving and I am constantly learning..."

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the course yesterday. I have been teaching for around 6 years now but this course has opend up my mind, not just in teaching but coaching a class through a tough, motivating workout. A truly great course.  Thanks - Garry 
 
I have to say that the course itself was fantastic - I thought it was just  the right blend of 'theory' and practical, and I was relieved to see that the places were kept to a minimum to ensure that everyone is assessed fairly rather than mass market the brand regardless of the individuals suitability.  The information and ideas that you presented were actually so simplistic but impressively effective!  It just goes to show that we really don't need a kit-bag full of equipment and gadgets in order to get fit.  Having taught part-time for a couple of years I had thought my confidence in front of a class was good, but I now realise that I need to step this up  gear as well and project a positive, motivating and dynamic persona from the moment I enter the room if I want the class participants to get the most out of their workout - regardless of what the class is.  I am very excited about the possibilities that this innovative programme offers and I look forward to being part (fingers crossed) of the growing team! - Sam
 
Thank you so much for the training day last friday 26th April. It was truly inspirational, motivational, different and hard work but extremley fun. After a tough past year ... you guys have certainly shown me that going back into the fitness profession after 10 years out is what I want to do and hopefully will be doing in the next month. My brian was and still expolding with what I learnt and took away from the training event, my poor family (husband & son) have been put to test with combat, rhythmic, drill and sports style warm ups and mini exercise components in the living room, practice, practice and practice.  I look forward to hearing from you soon, hopefully with good news! but once again a huge thank you for the training and support.  Many Thanks - Katie
 
Where can I start? Magnificent presentation of a fresh, unique brand which is all inclusive! I can't wait to get started (if I successfully qualify) and would be honoured to work under the Armageddon umbrella!!!! I came away feeling enthused, drained (lol) but energised and felt that Richard along with Gary's aid, gave us enough tools to start, enough information to develop and also scope to progress within the Armageddon family. I'm exited for me on a personal level, but also excited for Richard and Armageddon Fitness as a brand, it's gonna EXPLODE!!!  Brilliant - Theresa
 
Just a quick note to say the Armageddon training in Liverpool on friday was one of the best (if not thee) and most efficient training courses I have been on in a long time.  I work in fitness education and it pains me to attend courses which are 'show up, bimble about for the day and congratulations well done.'  They mean nothing and make a mockery of the industry.  Attending a course with a well structured lay out - theory and practical assessment, to deliver a framework which provides structure but allows you to maintain creativity... what is not to like! - Leanne
